Dr. Perales has been practicing since 1974 and offers 30 years of
experience to our community. He currently serves as Chairman of
the Utilization Review Committee for Golden Plains Community Hospital
and was GPCH Chief of Staff in 2003. He has invaluable experience
including Medical Director of the Hereford Regional Medical Center
Cardiac Rehab and Medical Director of the Hereford Regional Medical
Center Worksmart, a center for occupation health.
Dr. Perales treats most major illnesses related to the internal
organs, including cardiac arrhythmias, coronary heart disease, respiratory
failure, bleeding ulcers, pneumonia, pancreatitis, hepatitis, strokes,
and many others. He handles minor pediatric, gynecological, and
geriatric cases in addition to performing minor surgeries. He can
also interpret EKG's and Holter results, perform intubations, provide
ventilator management, place temporary transvenous or external pacemakers,
treadmill exercise tests, and do other procedures as needed.
